Bradley Floyd was born in Myrtle Beach and grew up along the Grand Strand. As a child Brad experienced a strong connection with all animals and transformed this connection into advocacy and animal protection efforts in his law practice. He advocates for animals native to the Grand Strand area, as well as those native to foreign countries around the world; particularly in Africa where a number of majestic animals are threatened to near extinction. Brad feels a deep desire to work towards enhanced animal protection and preservation.
Bradley obtained his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Thereafter he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, where he was a member of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity and received the distinguished Dean’s Certificate of Service Award for completion of over 100 hours of community service. While in law school, Brad coached YMCA soccer, taught Rights and Liberties at Hall High School, was a Big Brother in the local Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program, and participated in the Volunteers in Public Schools program through the Pulaski County School District.
After law school Bradley clerked for the Honorable Michael Nettles in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit for South Carolina. Bradley is licensed to practice in South Carolina State and Federal courts, as well as the United States District Court for South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit for the United States Court of Appeals.
Brad manages administrative and bookkeeping duties at the Floyd Law Firm, contributing his organizational skills and leadership to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
